Information we collect
When you book a junk removal job, we collect:
- Your name
- Phone number
- Pickup address and ZIP code
- Payment information (processed by Stripe — we do not store full card numbers)
- Photos you upload of the items to be hauled
How we use your information
- To fulfill your booking and dispatch a hauler
- To communicate with you about your job (confirmations, updates, support)
- To process your payment after job completion
- To improve pricing accuracy and service operations
Uploaded photos may be used to improve pricing accuracy and service operations, including refining our load-size estimation models.
Third-party services
We share only the minimum information needed with trusted providers:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Twilio — SMS notifications about your booking
- Analytics tools to understand how the platform is used
We do not sell personal information.
Text Messaging & SMS Communications
Customers may voluntarily opt in to receive SMS messages during the booking process. SMS consent is collected through a separate, unchecked checkbox below the phone number field. SMS consent is completely optional and is not required to complete a booking.
Customers who do not opt in to SMS will still receive all booking confirmations and updates via email.
If you opt in, SMS may be used for transactional communications such as:
- Booking confirmations
- Scheduling updates
- Hauler assignment notifications
- En route notifications
- Payment confirmations
- Customer support
The exact consent language shown at booking is: "I would like to receive text message updates about my booking, including scheduling updates, hauler arrival notifications, payment confirmations, and customer support. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for assistance."
SMS consent and phone numbers collected for SMS communications are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

Hauler SMS Communications
Haulers may voluntarily opt in to receive operational SMS notifications during onboarding. SMS consent for haulers is:
- Optional
- Collected using a separate, unchecked checkbox located directly below the phone number field
- Separate from the Independent Contractor Agreement and all other legal acknowledgments
Haulers who do not opt in still receive every operational notification (job opportunities, dispatch, schedule, and payment updates) by email. Only SMS notifications are disabled.

Data protection
We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Access to customer data is restricted to authorized staff and is logged.
Cookies and tracking
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your booking session. We may use limited analytics cookies to understand traffic patterns. We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising.
Your rights
You may request a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or request deletion (subject to record-keeping required by tax and legal obligations). Email us to make a request.
